Foley & Lardner LLP announced today that it has further enhanced its Health Care Practice with the addition of partner Jim Miles and senior counsel Charles Gass in Denver, underscoring the firm’s commitment to expanding capabilities in the Health Care and Life Science Sector and its Colorado presence. The attorneys join Foley from Greenberg Traurig, LLP.Miles represents health care organizations, health care professionals, and private equity firms with commercial transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financing, joint ventures, and start-ups. He advises a range of health care providers, including ambulatory surgical centers, assisted living facilities, community health centers, home health agencies, hospitals, imaging centers, laboratories, pharmaceutical firms, physician practices, and skilled nursing facilities.
Miles also advocates for health care providers undergoing government investigations by the Office of Inspector General, State Medicaid Fraud Control Units, and other government agencies and advises in business planning and government relations.

He also counsels health care clients as they navigate regulatory risks and concerns associated with M&A transactions.
