Clifford Chance advises IK Partners on the intended acquisition of Kooi

International law firm Clifford Chance has advised its longstanding client IK Partners on the intended acquisition, via the IK X Fund, of Kooi European Mobile Security Solutions B.V. (“Kooi”) the fast-growing pan-European provider of temporary camera surveillance and rising early-detection solutions.IK is acquiring a majority stake from Bencis Capital Partners, founder Pieter Kooi and the management team, who will all reinvest. Headquartered in Drachten, the Netherlands, Kooi currently has more than 200 employees who serve a growing customer base in 23 countries.
Completion of the transaction is subject to legal and regulatory approvals.
The Clifford Chance core team was led by Jan-Hendrik Horsmeier and consisted of Ernst van der Touw, Femke Buijs, Nancy Stoke, Sophie Riemer, Hannah van Dijk and Emma Trooster (Corporate M&A).
