Linklaters advises Deutsche Börse AG on the issuance of three tranches of digital corporate bonds in an aggregate volume of €3bn

Linklaters advised Deutsche Börse AG on the successful issuance of corporate bonds in three tranches and in an aggregate volume of three billion euro. These are the first corporate bonds placed with institutional investors that are represented by central register securities in accordance with the German Electronic Securities Act (eWpG). Clearstream Banking AG, Frankfurt, is the registrar and uses its own digital platform D7 for this purpose.The first tranche in an aggregate principal amount of 1 billion euro pays an annual coupon of 3.875 per cent and matures in 2026. The second tranche in an aggregate principal amount of 750 million euros pays an annual coupon of 3.750 per cent and matures in 2029. The third tranche in an aggregate principal amount of 1.25 billion euro pays an annual coupon of 3.875 per cent and matures in 2033.
